YOU MUST BE WILLING TO PICK-UP YOUR ANIMAL.

A pet fox can be a intriguing and rewarding companion.  Regardless of what type of fox you adopt, you will need
a good veterinarian who is comfortable with your pet.  We recommend to have your fox spayed or neutered.
Your goal should be to encourage their natural behaviors while establishing a strong bond with them.
Interactions with your fox are important to maintain their socialization and ensure their happiness.

*NOTE THAT WHEN YOU PURCHASE A FOX FROM US A MORE DETAILED CARE PLAN WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE TO YOU .  We advise you to seek a good veterinarian with the treatment of your animal.  We will not be held responsible for any mishaps pertaining to these documents.

WE ALSO SELL: Food for your exotic animal, Cages, and other supplies.

Step 1
We recommend to build an outdoor structure for when you are at work etc. and can not supervise the fox.
Remember you CAN NOT tie up a fox like a dog because the fox will (Chew) to get off the leash or chain.

Step 2
Fox proof (child proof) your house including outlets and cords.  Watch the doors as you go in and out of the house.  Keep your windows closed when your fox is loose in the house because the fox may escape out the window even with a screen in it.  Avoid breakable items on surfaces that your pet might climb on.   Get a litter box and put it in a corner  for your animal to go to the bathroom in.  Get a harness and a leash for going on walks outside.

Step 3
We feed our fox a special food designed for fox.  The pet food makers  have cheapened their formulas and put more fillers and taken some of the things fox need in their diet so we no longer use dog food for our fox.  We sell fox food if you would like to purchase some.    This food we use your animal will eat less food and get all of the required vitamins they need and all of the food will stay with the animal instead of going in and out.  You can supplement with other things as treats.  Make sure that have food and water at all times..

Step 4
Trim  your foxes toe nail just like a dogs  as needed.  Pet your fox and pick them up and hold them so they will get used of being handled.  Spend quality time with your fox.

Step 5
Train your fox  as you would a dog with potty training and tell them "NO" for other undesirable behavior.
Foxes love to play with anything that will play with them.  DO NOT play rough with your fox it can lead to undesirable behavior.  UNSUPERVISED children should not interact with your fox.  Children get too rough and do not realize that they hurt the animal.  In addition,  if the child gets too rough the fox may bite the child to protect itself.

Things to think about:

Most people have their own ideas of which type of fox they like the best.

The Artic fox greet you (say Hello- please pick me up and play with me) differently than a "Red / Silver type"
The Gray fox also greet differently.
But again EACH ANIMAL has its own personality just as people.
Each type lure you into playing with them by making things a game.
All types like to be pet, held and played with.

We encourage you as a fox owner to play and talk to your animal as much as possible.
Your kinship (bonding) will be very rewarding no matter which type of fox you pick.

As for the ultimate question which sex makes a better pet.
Either sex will make a great pet. Each animal has its own unique personality just like people.

The  POLAR Artic fox change colors with the weather.  They are a darker color in the summer and a white in the winter.  SHADDOW ARTIC fox are white year round.

The other types of fox stay the same colors all year round.
